    Throwing Game
France - beginning of the 20th century

A ball-throwing game, the balls being made of papier mache. This model was used inside a shooting gallery or a game’s room for children.
This artist, with his delightfully neglected look, evokes Toulouse-Lautrec or Van-Gogh; at that time, toys were often inspired by famous people or topical events.
